There will be one less name on the ballot in Ripley this weekend.
The Huron Bruce Progressive Conservative Association is holding their nominations on Saturday to pick a candidate to go up against incumbent Liberal MPP Carol Mitchell in the provincial election.
Former Huron County Warden and Central Huron Deputy Reeve John Bezaire says his name won’t be on the ballot.
Still hoping to get the nod is Saugeen Shores Councillor Taun Frosst, Huron-Kinloss Mayor Mitch Twolan and the General Manager of the Ontario Dairy Goat Co-operative Lisa Thompson.
