The line-up for the 3rd annual Music in the Fields summer festival has been announced and it includes performers like Jason McCoy and Lonestar.
Headlining the concert on August 27th in Lucknow will be Blake Shelton.
He is the CMA 2010 Male Vocalist of the year.
Media relations co-ordinator, Jordan Andrew says Country music group Lonestar will be on hand.
The band achieved crossover success in 1999 when their hit single “Amazed” was number 1 on both the country charges and Billboard Hot 100.
Canadian singer-songwriter Jason McCoy will perform in Lucknow. He has 5 studio albums under his belt.
Rounding out the line-up this year will be CCMA’s 2010 Female artist of the year Victoria Banks, Dry Country, River Junction band and Snakebite.
Music in the fields is an annual event with profits going to several charities including the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
It’s estimated four to six thousand tickets will be sold this year.
