Wakestock is coming back to Collingwood for a third year.
Council approved the special events application for the wakeboarding event to be held August 5th to the 7th at Millenium Park.
New this year, will be indoor entertainment, camping and parking at the GNE fairgrounds with shuttle service to the park.
Something else new this year is the promotion of social responsibility.
SBC Events Manager Todd Elsley says he’s met with police and they say they had no problems with the event last year, but he still wants to make sure the 10 thousand people who come respect the town and the people who live in it.
