Breakfast at McDonald’s is changing — and so is the look of three McDonald’s restaurants in the region.
The fast food restaurant has launched a new breakfast item — fresh baked buttermilk biscuits.
Steve Sgro is the Owner – Operator of McDonald’s locations in Owen Sound, Port Elgin and Meaford — and he tells us you can have it anyway you want.
You can have them as a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit; a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit; a sausage biscuit or on its own with strawberry jam.
Sgro is also undergoing major renovations at his different restaurants.
The work at the Walmart McDonald’s in Owen Sound is now complete.
Sgro says they will begin to renovate the Port Elgin McDonald’s in the next month with hopes to re-open during the March Break.
Sgro then has plans to give the west side Owen Sound McDonald’s a makeover in the Spring or the Fall.
Sgro tells Bayshore Broadcasting News it’s a substantial investment — but he calls it a long term commitment he and his wife Christine want to make to the community.
