Busy weekend ?!

Somewhat of an understatement.
The annual Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular is underway.
For the next 9 days, an annual highlight on both the sports and social calendar is taking place on Georgian Bay & along the Owen Sound shoreline.
Also tonight, the Owen Sound Greys have an exhibition game when they host the Villanova Knights.
It’s a long road back for the Greys organization, but you’ve got to start somewhere and that’s tonight at the Coliseum.
Among the big events tomorrow, Sauble Speedway has the Arca Trucks.
Should it rain tomorrow, they’ll run the card on Sunday; it’s that big.
Speaking of big, the first ever Bayshore Race for the hospital goes on Sunday, and for a first time event, it’s impressive the number of participants are likely to bypass 300.
And did I mention the 2010 Canadian Men’s Fastball Championship begin this weekend at Charlottetown, PEI ?
The Owen Sound Verge Investment Selects are competing.
Of course, a year from now, the Championship Tournament will be at Duncan McLellan Park in Owen Sound.
