Wasaga Beach appears to have lost an icon, a man who walked the streets of town and talked to nearly everyone he saw for the last 20 years.
He was known to most people merely as Paul, to others as “Blanket Man” because of the way he dressed.
The OPP say he was 62 year old Paul Vozoris of Wasaga Beach.
He collapsed near the intersection of Mosley and Old Mosley Sunday at about 10 AM.
Police and Ambulance were called, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital in Collingwood a short time later.
Dozens of people on a Wasaga Beach facebook page say they will miss Vozoris, who they call a fixture, an icon and a friend.
Constable Mark Kinney says, there was no foul play involved in the death.
There’s no word yet on funeral arrangements.
