The 2010 World Cup of Soccer begins this week in South Africa.
The 32 teams are divided into 8 divisions of four.
The 4 teams in each pool go head to head and the two best records from each pool advance to the quarterfinal matches.
From there, it’s win or go home.

However, every 4 years, with varying degrees of interest, I must admit, I do develop more interest than usual for World Cup soccer, especially when there’s a pool involved.
For the record, I say the 8 pools will be won by France, Argentina, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Brazil & Spain, who in turn will comprise the Final 8
Brazil, England, Germany & Spain will comprise the Final 4 with Spain & Brazil playing for the World Cup on July 11th.
The 2010 World Cup Champion will be Spain.
But like I said earlier, beyond the pool, what do I know about World Cup Soccer ?
