The Canada Day festivities in three communities in Bruce and Huron just got better.
The federal government has announced grant money totalling almost 10 thousand dollars for Saugeen Shores, Brockton and Goderich for the July 1st festivities.
Huron Bruce MP Ben Lobb says $2,300 will go to the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce; $2,800 will go to the Brockton Canada Day Committee and Goderich got the biggest piece of the pie with a $4,500 grant.
It’s all part of the Celebrate Canada festivities in Huron Bruce, providing citizens an opportunity to express their pride in being Canadian.
