Another “10 percenter” mail out from Simcoe Grey MP Helena Guergis.
The mailouts can be sent to 10 per cent of people in the riding at a time.
This one is about the long gun registry, which Guergis says needs to be repealed.
The mail back form for Guergis, however, makes no mention of the registry, and simply asks constituents, “is Hon. Helena Guergis, P.C., M.P. on the right track?”
On the form, P-C stands for Privy Council, not Progressive Conservative. Since Guergis was once a cabinet member, she remains part of the Privy Council.
Guergis, and her husband Rahim Jaffer, are set to testify as a committee looking into Jaffer’s business dealings on June 9th.
Guergis continues to insist she doesn’t know what led the Prime Minister to oust her from the Conservative caucus.
