The main fundraising event for the Kincardine Big Brothers, Big Sisters is taking place today.
The Dennis Riggin Memorial Golf Tournament has raised more than 160 thousand dollars for Kincardine Big Brothers, Big Sisters over the years.
The tournament is named for a local hockey player who played for the Detroit Red Wings.
Dennis Riggin has been a long-time supporter of the group.
140 golfers will play 18 holes at Ainsdale golf course on Wednesday — but first they travel to two different courses to play six holes at each.
All the money raised goes to Kincardine Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The golf tournament is one of only two fundraisers the Kincardine chapter holds.
The other is the Bowl for Kids Sake in March.
