Owen Sound police are investigating yet another senseless act of vandalism in the City.
Inspector Steve MacKinnon says officers were called to Harrison Park about a group of young people in the pool area.
A park employee could hear the sound of boards breaking.
When Owen Sound police arrived, the suspects had already scattered.
The breaking boards were part of the Weavers Creek Boardwalk.
It was built in 2005 by volunteers from the Sydenham Sportsman Club and the Scenic City Order of Good Cheer.
The vandalism happened last Sunday morning about 2 AM.
Owen Sound Police Service are asking for your help in identifying those people responsible for damaging the property in Harrison Park.
Anyone with information should call Owen Sound Police or Crime Stoppers.
