The trial for a Walkerton man charged with injuring a baby is now set for September.
27 year old Terry Lee Clarkson is charged with aggravated assault after a 19 month old baby was injured last November.
His case was in a Walkerton court earlier this week where three weeks were set aside to hear the evidence.
Police say the baby’s mother returned home to find her infant in medical distress and was treated at the London hospital for serious injuries.
According to Police, Clarkson was involved in a short term common-law relationship with the baby’s mother and had been living with her in Walkerton on the date of the incident.
Clarkson’s trial in Superior court in Walkerton begins on September 13th.
