Grey County OPP are investigating after a womans’ body was found in Georgian Bluffs Thursday afternoon.
Constable Steve Starr says Police were called earlier in the day about an abandoned vehicle on Mountain Lake Road west of Grey Road 17.
It was noticed by passing motorists who reported it to police.
An investigation was started, the area was contained and the Grey County OPP Canine Unit conducted a search in the vicinity of the car, which lead to the
discovery early this afternoon.
Starr says the woman is middle aged.
He says the woman is not a resident of the area and adds investigators do not suspect foul play in her death.
The victims name has not been released.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for tomorrow morning at Grey
Bruce Health Services-Owen Sound.
