Simcoe Grey MP Helena Guergis made her return to the House of Commons on Tuesday.
It’s the first time she’s been in the house since being ousted from the Conservative Caucus early in April.
And her new seat is in the far back benches, the final seat in the final row.
It’s new territory for Guergis, who used to have a seat right behind the Prime Minister when she was a junior minister in cabinet.
She was often seen in question period behind Stephen Harper’s right shoulder.
Guergis sat quietly during question period, chatting from time to time with neighbouring independent MP’s.
