The 8th annual “Ayden Byle Dash for Diabetes” in Huron and Bruce is looking for volunteers.
Their 5 mile walk, run or jog is set for Goderich on July 3rd and in Kincardine during the Labour day weekend.
Organizer Frank Gardiner hopes to also hold an event in Port Elgin during the August Civic weekend.
Along with volunteers, Gardiner says they’re also looking for participants.

Gardiner says 100% of all pledges raised go to the University of Western Ontario’s Robarts Research for diabetes program, and also to local area kids with diabetes.
The fundraiser is named after Ayden Byle, a young diabetic from Tiverton, who raised over 100 thousand dollars for diabetes research in London during his 1998 run across Canada.
