The Hanover Community Theatre is going to get a lot brighter.
The theatre is getting a new 8 thousand dollar lighting console.
The new lighting system offers a lot more technological advantages over the current, older model.
The Hanover Community Players are excited about the upcoming purchase and have donated two thousand dollars towards the cause.
The Chair of the Community Players Marg Poste says it’s a wise investment since it will give them more versatility and enhance the ambiance for their performances.
The new system can connect 48 lights to a channel — the older system could only do 24.
Poste says the new lighting system will also be put to good use since there is a growing demand for more performances.
Poste says Hanover residents are fortunate to have a town that supports art and culture through the theatre.
