A world renowned home design guru is coming out with a new show.
Debbie Travis tells Bayshore Broadcasting News that she’s very excited about her new show, which will be coming out on the CBC this fall.
Travis says it focuses on communities across Canada, and that she’s on a mission to find unsung heroes in our communities and neighbourhoods.
She says that those people hold communities together like glue, and that they are the one person everyone relies on to step up to the plate when someone needs help.
Travis says there will be a specific focus on cottage country as well, because we are two different towns.
She says that there are the locals, and then the “city slickers” who only come during the summer.
Travis says that when they find the local hero in neighbourhoods that make it a better place to live, they will do something “huge” for that person.
The show hasn’t been named yet, but it will be going on air at the end of September, and Travis says the show is very amazing, and gives her goosebumps.
And she says that the message of the show will hopefully be contagious, and encourage people to get to know their neighbours.
