The OPP in Barrie are investigating after human remains were found in Oro-Medonte Township.
The discovery was made in the area of Horseshoe Valley Road and the 6th Line yesterday.
Constable Peter Leon says it’s not known whether the remains are that of a male or female, how long they’d been there, or the cause of death, but he adds the case is considered suspicious.
An autopsy will be done today at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto.
