Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, Doctor Arlene King, says there’s no evidence people’s health is harmed by wind turbines.
Doctor King says the noise isn’t loud enough to cause hearing or other health problems.
One of the long time opponents of wind turbine projects is John Laforet of Wind Concerns Ontario….
Laforet tells Bayshore Broadcasting News, he is disappointed but not surprised by what Doctor King had to say…
Laforet says Doctor King was appointed by the Liberals and she is simply supporting her employer.
At the same time, John Laforet took a swipe at Huron Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell for not listening to her constituents.
Laforet calls her hopeless, and disrespectful of her residents concerns.
Meanwhile, Laforet applauds the actions of Arran-Elderslie and Chatsworth councils.
Both have tried to stop new wind turbine projects by claiming the “Green Energy act” violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
He says the Liberals will pay dearly at the ballot box in the next Ontario election over this issue.
