The weekend conference held by the provincial Liberals at Blue Mountain wrapped up on Sunday.
The conference brought together experts, academics, as well as “average people” from all over Ontario to talk about important issues facing the province.
The Liberals say the important questions is how to strengthen the Ontario economy while preserving our vital public services.
But the conference also saw protestors take to Blue Mountain to voice their opinion.
First it was public sector workers on Friday May 14th.
Then pharmacy students held a noise protest on Saturday May 15th to call on Premier Dalton McGuinty to get back to the bargaining table when it comes to the 750 million dollar fund paid by generic drug makers to Ontario pharmacies.
Some of the speakers at the weekend conference included Malcolm Gladwell, Jeff Rubin, and McGuinty himself.
