The Saugeen Shores Police and Fire Departments are investigating a suspicious fire that happened this morning in Port Elgin.
Around 5:30 AM Saturday — fire crews responded to a fully engulfed house fire at 493 Bluewater Drive.
Fire Chief Phil Eagleson says the fire also spread to the house next door.
Eagleson says there were no injuries and the fire was quickly brought under control.
He says the fire is suspicious and the Fire Marshal’s office has been notified.
Police continue to investigate.
