The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce is dealing with some irregularities following an internal audit.
In a short news release on Thursday — Chamber General Manager Joanne Robbins advised the membership that the Chamber has been “subject to a fraud.”
The e-mail went on to say an internal audit has revealed potential irregularities in certain chamber accounts, although those accounts were not identified.
Robbins says a police investigation is underway and further comment at this time would be premature.
There’s been no release from police.
