Those 18 hundred dandelions at Port Elgin’s Cenotaph Park are on their last legs.
Volunteers are being called to Cenotaph Park on Mill Street Saturday morning at 10 AM to help get rid of the weeds.
Chair of the Cenotaph Park Committee Mike Atkinson says all you have to do is show up at the park with your weed pulling gardening tool and they’ll put you to work.
Atkinson figures if they got about 30 volunteers and each took out 60 dandelions, they’d have the job done in a hour.
This event was postponed last weekend because of inclement weather.
