Grey County OPP have released the identity of the woman killed in a collision west of Owen Sound.
Police say 53 year old Lynda Lyster of the Tara area was attempting to turn left into a business on the Sunset Strip Wednesday afternoon when she was rammed from behind by a pick up truck.
The force of the collision pushed her into oncoming traffic — where she was sandwiched between two vehicles.
Lyster was pronounced dead at the scene by a passing physician.
An elderly couple, also from Tara, was treated and released from Owen Sound hospital.
The driver of the pick up wasn’t hurt.
Grey County OPP are continuing the investigation.
So far no word on any possible charges.
