The Conservative’s are picking apart Helena Guergis after her interview with the CBC.
According to the Globe and Mail, talking points given to a group of supporters, and MP’s, say that Guergis lied in her interview when she said that she didn’t know what the allegations were against her that prompted the Prime Minister to remove her from the cabinet and caucus.
The memo also says that Guergis was told specific allegations by the party lawyer, and added that if Guergis didn’t know what the allegations were, why would she issue a statement after being kicked out of cabinet saying that she denied all of the allegations.
The document goes on to say that Guergis also lied when she said that her husband, Rahim Jaffer, didn’t use her Parliament Hill office, nor her parliamentary email account.
The Tories claim they have documented use of Guergis’s office for private dealings by Jaffer, and also have documented use of her email for his private matters.
