Provincial police have identified an 18-year-old man whose body was found in Lake Eugenia, northeast of Flesherton.
Diego Ferro of Cambridge had been missing since a canoe he was in capsized on the lake sometime before 7:30 AM on Sunday.
Police say a 14-year-old girl who was with him managed to swim to shore and was treated and released from an area hospital.
Police say Ferro and the girl were at an overnight post-prom event involving more than a dozen students at a cottage near the lake.
The two had left the cottage early Sunday, without life-jackets, despite cool temperatures and a strong wind.
