Power lines are being knocked down around the region with today’s strong winds.
Hydro One is now reporting that over 15 hundred customers from Collingwood to Singhampton are in the dark.
The power is expected to be restored by 8 PM tonight.
Earlier today – over one thousand customers in the Huron Kinloss and Lucknow area were without power but their lights came back on around 3:30 PM.
Over one hundred customers in Hope Bay are still in the dark this afternoon and Hydro One says that problem should be fixed by 5:15 PM.
Smaller outages also dot the region from Teeswater to Tobermory.
