M&M Meat Shops will be firing up grills today.
They are hosting the 22nd Annual Charity BBQ Day.
Money raised at this event will be going to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be for sale at all M&M Meat Shops locations in the region.
The company goal is to raise two million dollars.
From coast to coast with the help of staff and volunteers more than 470 M&M meat shops locations across Canada will be participating.
Canada has among the highest incidence rates of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis in the world.
