People with disabilities will get help preparing for jobs as a result of the Government of Canada’s support for Community Living Walkerton and District.
Huron Bruce Conservative MP Ben Lobb, presented the organization with a cheque worth just over 40 thousand dollars on Friday.
The funding comes under the Enhanced Employment Assistance Services component of the Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities.
The money is designed to help 22 people with developmental disabilities gain the skills they need to enter the labour market.
