Excellence in business is being celebrated in the region.
The 2010 SCOBE awards were handed out Wednesday night in Mildmay.
The Saugeen Community Business Excellence awards honour the excellence in business and entrepreneurs in the Saugeen Community.
Area chambers of commerce combine for the awards which were presented in six categories.
The winners are:
Corporate Citizen of the Year – Bluewater Community radio – Hanover
Entrepreneur of the year – Randy Saunders of HGTV and Electronics – Walkerton
Young Entrepreneur of the year – Amanda Kleist of Amandas Personal Training – Hanover
Customer Service Excellence – Noah’s Inn – Neustadt
Company of the year (with fewer than 15 employees) – North Wellington Co-op – Hanover
