Grey Bruce first responders have been given some new training.
About 300 of them have attended a recent public safety and drug awareness session hosted by the Grey Bruce Crystal Meth Task Force.
The objective was to give health and social service providers, police and emergency workers knowledge in recognizing illegal drugs, drug use or drug labs at the homes they visit on a daily basis.
The crystal meth task force was created last summer in response to growing concerns about the impact that the drug is having on the communities in Grey Bruce.
The workshop is the first of several educational events that will be hosted by the task force in the future.
