Almost 12 million dollars in federal and provincial funding is going to improve some roads in the Mildmay and in the Goderich areas.
In a joint news release from Huron Bruce Conservative MP Ben Lobb and Liberal MPP Carol Mitchell, it was announced, Highway 9 from Mildmay to Clifford and Highway 21 from Goderich to Sheppardton will be upgraded.
This funding will go towards resurfacing Highway 9 from Mildmay to Clifford and resurfacing of Highway 21 from Goderich to Sheppardton.
These upgrades will start in time for this construction season so residents in Huron-Bruce will soon benefit from these investments.
The money is coming from the federal stimulus fund and the provincial infrastructure fund.
