Coaches from across the region are in Hanover to participate in a coaching clinic from the Ontario Coaches Association.
The free clinic started Friday and continues today at the Hanover Family Centre — part of Ontario Coaches Week.
Hanover Recreation Director Sherri Walden says this is a great opportunity for area coaches.
She says these clinics are usually offered in large urban centers requiring participants to travel long distances and arrange accommodations.
Walden says the clinics provides volunteer and community coaches with an opportunity to develop their coaching skills.
Walden says volunteer coaches really are unsung heroes of the community.
