Students and Staff at Georgian College in Owen Sound will be taking out the trash today.
They will be picking up litter around the 8th Street East campus from 11 AM till Noon today to mark the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.
Volunteers will also distribute reusable cloth shopping bags at the Metro supermarket in downtown Owen Sound from 1 till 3 PM.
Students at other Georgian College campuses in Barrie, Orillia and Midland are also collecting litter.
