A rude awakening for a Dundalk woman.
She called Grey County OPP around 2 AM Sunday morning after finding an intruder in her Ida Street home.
The woman says she felt something against the foot of her bed and saw the silhouette of a person in the hallway outside of her bedroom door.
Police say the suspect fled the scene — the male or female is described as being about 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10 inches tall with flat hair and curls around the ears.
Nothing in the home was missing.
Police are also concerned the door to the home was unlocked and left wide open — and they remind residents to lock their doors and windows.
The OPP is canvassing the area and a Forensic team is gathering evidence.
