Kincardine council has approved funds to remove mould in the Tiverton Fire Station.
Councilors agreed to Bluewater Pro Team’s quote of just over 17 thousand dollars.
Councillor Marsha Leggett says it’s the second lowest quote of four received.
Leggett says the winning Bluewater Pro Team’s quote covers everything needed to remove the mould, whereas the lowest quote did not cover all the restorations.
She says she expects the clean up will start soon and hopes it is going to be finished within a couple of weeks. .
She adds the fire department is using Bruce County’s EMS trailer for their radio room, while the clean up continues.
