Another successful Mission Zimbabwe fundraising event is in the books.
Organizers held a Maple Syrup festival Easter Weekend at Cedar Rail Camp near Chesley on Saturday.
They say close to four thousand dollars was raised thanks to those who attended and took part in among ofther tings a pancake breakfast and Easter egg hunt.
All proceeds benefit the Village of Hope in Zimbabwe to help with the development of children in need of food, medical care and education.
Most of the money will be used to build a secondary school at the Village.
Details about the on-going project can be found on line at www.missionzimbabwe.org
