Some good news for anyone in the Wiarton area looking for a doctor.
Doctor Daniel Lothstein is now accepting new patients in the town of South Bruce Peninsula.
Co-Chair of the Doctor recruitment committee for South Bruce Peninsula, Dan Kerr says Doctor Lothstein opened his office in Wiarton April 1st, but wasn’t accepting patients for the first week or so.
Doctor Lothstein is a young doctor, fresh out of medical school.
He was the second new doctor to be lured to the community of South Bruce Peninsula in a matter of months.
Kerr says the recruitment committee isn’t done yet, and sees the need for at least one more doctor in the area.
