Saugeen Shores Police have signed a new contract.
After two months of negotiations, the town of Saugeen Shores police services board has agreed to a new contract with Police.
Saugeen Shores Deputy Mayor and Board Chair Doug Freiburger says both sides worked together well and came to the agreement on Monday.
He says there were many issues agreed upon in the new deal.
Freiburger adds police were willing to accept pay increases in split over the years.
The last contract ended in December 2009.
Complete details of the contract signed have yet to be released.
The police services board is meeting Tuesday to formalize the agreement.
