Simcoe Grey’s MP has not given any interviews with the media since her troubles began more than two months ago, but she is out with a statement this week about her constituency offices.
In that three-sentence statement, Helena Guergis says her constituency offices in Collingwood and Alliston are open, with staff on duty to provide services as they have for the last six years.
While Guergis makes no mention of her change of circumstances, but does say she will continue to work on behalf of the residents of Simcoe Grey, both in Ottawa and in the riding.
Simcoe Grey’s MP was last week removed from the Conservative caucus over unnamed allegations surrounding her.
The Prime Minister has called the RCMP to investigate.
There’s no word on whether such an investigation is underway.
