Charges have been dropped against two men who are alleged to have bilked Grey Bruce farmers of nearly a million dollars.
Mark Kuglin of Meaford and Darryl Williams of Chatsworth both faced 13 counts of fraud over 5 thousand dollars.
Both men were connected with Grey Bruce Beef Marketing and All County Feed and Grains.
Grey County OPP charged the pair after farmers were not paid for products sold to abattoirs and feed companies through the two local firms.
Police allege the total amount lost was 750 thousand dollars — and the victims were mostly beef producers from Bruce, Grey and Wellington Counties.
