The recession hasn’t hurt a Hanover martial arts and self defense studio.
In fact business is booming.
So much so — that The Golden Tiger has moved to a larger facility across the street from it’s original location in Hanover’s downtown.
Owner Terry Sulkye says the 6 thousand square foot, two level building offers ample space for mixed martial arts, kung fu, boxing, kickboxing and submission wrestling.
The larger studio also features for the first time a personal velocity training studio.
Work is currently underway on a new boxing ring and a mixed martial arts cage as well.
Sulkye says the move was a smart investment.
Since the relocation his cliental has grown, he’s offering more classes and programs and his studio is more popular than ever.
He says martial arts and combat fighting is becoming very popular.
Not only is it a great way to stay in shape but he says it sharpens the body as well as the mind.
Sulkye invites anyone interested to drop by the studio to see if the Golden Tiger is for them.
