The damage from a fire at the 11 unit apartment building in Owen Sound has been estimated at 750 thousand dollars.
Fire investigators sifted through the rubble Tuesday after flames destroyed the building at the end of 11th Street A West on Monday.
There is no official cause of the fire yet — but investigators are focusing on an ashtray and the careless disposal of its contents.
The building was owned by developer Barry Kruisselbrink — who is helping to find alternative accommodations for the tenants who have been left homeless.
