Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney says that both the world and Canadian economies are recovering from the recession faster than anticipated.
And Bayshore Broadcasting News wanted to know if you think the recession is over yet.
Everyone we spoke to agreed that we definitely aren’t out of the recession yet.
And most of them added that it will probably be at least another year until things are back to normal.
One man told us that the recession definitely isn’t over, according to his business, because this year hasn’t been great at all.
Another man said it may even take 3 years to get back to where we were.
And another man agreed that although the recession isn’t over, things aren’t nearly as bad as they were one year ago.
