It looks like voters in Collingwood will again be mailing in their ballots.
Council approved a staff report this week to keep the system the town has had for the last four municipal elections.
This Monday council will consider adopting the by-law to make it official.
If the by-law passes, there will be something new this year to help people who are visually impaired.
A person would be able to come in to town hall and use a marking tabulator which is a handheld device and headphones to direct them where to mark their ballot.
In past elections, those who can’t see have had to have others mark the ballots for them, now they can do it themselves.
The election is on October 25th and ballots usually get mailed out 2 to 3 weeks prior.
