West Grey has many picturesque scenes — and now an exhibit featuring some of these scenes is all set to open.
The municipality along with the Durham Art Gallery is presenting an exhibition that opens today, featuring photos submitted through the West Grey Photo Contest.
West Grey Chief Administrative Officer Christine Robinson says its showcases the may gems of the municipality such as agriculture and nature.
Robinson says the partnership for the contest has allowed both amateur and professional photographers to take part.
She adds the photos will be used for promotional material in the municipality and have also been featured at a recent display of the municipality at Canada Blooms in Toronto.
Robinson says the photo contest has brought some of the most picturesque points of West Grey to the spotlight.
The Opening reception starts at 1 PM at the Durham Art Gallery and the exhibit is running until May 16th.
