The Heart and Stroke Foundation is hosting its first ever free Family Skate Day in Owen Sound today.
The Foundation has called it the ‘Skate for Heart.”
It will take place from 1:30 PM to 3 PM at the Owen Sound Coliseum.
Officials say they wanted to create family fun event that focuses on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and getting active.
There will be music, games and prizes.
‘Skate for Heart’ is part of Heart and Stroke’s Fit for Heart program.
