Small to medium business owners in Kincardine are invited to learn about how the HST will affect them.
Officials with the Saugeen Shores Business Enterprise Centre are hosting another seminar on the harmonized sales tax which takes effect July 1st.
Pre pre-registration is required – but the seminar is free – so those wanting to take part need to call the municipal office in Kincardine.
A representative from the Canada Revenue Agency will be on hand.
Those in attendance will be able to ask questions and find out what rules and deadlines pertain to them with the implentation of the merged tax.
The session runs Friday at the municipal office in Kincardine for about 2 and a half hours starting at 9 AM.
There are many other sessions planned throughout the entire month of April – those dates are posted on our website and available through the Business Enterprise Centre link on the Saugeen Shores or Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce websites.
The blending of the GST with the PST to create the HST takes effect July 1st.
