It’s a very significant night in Junior Hockey.
In the Western Junior C semifinals, both series resume tonight.
In Kincardine, the Bulldogs host Walkerton in game 2 of their best of 7 after Kincardine scored an upset in the opener of the series.
Meanwhile in Durham tonight, the Hanover Barons & Mitchell Hawks play game 3 of their series this evening.
The road team has won the first two games of the series which is deadlocked at 1.
The Georgian MidOntario Junior C semifinals also continue this evening.
The most significant game is game 7 at Penetanguishene between the Kings and Stayner.
Stayner won the first 3 games, the Kings rallied to win the last 3 contests.
Plus, Alliston is at Erin for Game 6 of that series, with the Hornets surprisingly in tough but leading the Shamrocks 3 games to 2.
And of course in the OHL, the Attack host London tonight while the Guelph Storm are at Erie.
Guelph is 1 point ahead of the Attack for the final playoff spot in the West, and the Storm have played 2 less games than Owen Sound.
Assuming the Storm will win the 2 games they have left with Sarnia, that makes tonight’s game for Owen Sound absolutely crucial.
Game time is 7 pm at the JD McArthur Arena.
