As the Olympics wind down today, a 22 year old Collingwood woman is getting ready for her moment to shine.
Lauren O’Neill White will be dancing in the Closing Ceremonies of the Vancouver Games.
The ceremonies start at 8:30 PM our time.
O’Neill White tells us she’s been putting in a lot of hours rehearsing, but it’s all worth it.
She can’t reveal much to us about her dance number, but says it shouldn’t be too hard to pick her out.
She says she’s in one of the smaller groups and her costume is bigger than her.
BC Place can hold 55 thousand spectators and another 3 billion people are expected to watch the closing ceremonies on television.
